Marriage is no longer religious; it’s financial and based upon mutual consent. ; If any particular religion touts intolerance, hatred and discrimination, then perhaps it’s time to re-think that religion! A marriage is an agreement of two people to join everything financially and one to take the name of the other (which is optional) for the sake of a family background. If marriage is legal then anyone of legal age should be able to get married regardless of sexuality.

We at Goa Gay Union strongly believe marriage is based upon the love of one another and the promise to be faithful to one another, no matter what, and here gender plays no part in either faith or love. Gays should have the same marriage rights as a Man and Woman. Marriage is not an action that should be prejudice against how people feel about each other. We feel if a gay couple should decide to be married it would be for the same reasons a man and a woman decide to be married. We are aware of Many, Who may say it is against the word of God that a man should never be married to a man or a woman to a woman, but the word of God should not be forced upon people; nor any religion belief.
